~~ Chairperson for the Hutch Fund Fundraising committee
In 2017 I took the position as Chairperson. At the time, I had no idea what to expect except that I was undertaking a challenge. I was both nervous and excited. I knew that my past experience in business, marketing, and leadership was going to be tested and I couldn't be more thrilled. I wanted a projet to take on and truly devote my time and energy to a worthy cause.
What I found was refreshing and inspiring. I had a committee that was passionate and dedicated and hungry for great success. Our first major event is slated for April 28th, 2018, my 40th birthday!
I hope you'll join us on this incredible night of music, giving, and celebrating!
~~ Music and the Arts
In my continued efforts to support the music and arts (my passion) through real estate I tackle several projects a year, some on an ongoing basis.
The first is through sponsorships:
It's not only monetarily contributing, which is of course needed, but it's putting in a great deal of time and energy in hosting events from start to finish as well as contributing additional hands on support where needed.
In 2018 one of those projects is hosting a music recital for kids to teens at the Musical Instrument Museum. Not only is it a museum with a local and private founder, but it's a museum that puts a great deal of time, effort, and money into preserving music, supporting local businesses, (all their food is from local farms and are 100% sustainable) , and maintaining the integrity of their vision. Something I hold true to aligning myself with, part of why I work with an esteemed company and brand such as Sotheby's
If you haven't had a chance to tour this masterpiece, make sure you do!
In addition in choosing MIM as the location for this event, I will also be joining as one of the museum producer's circle sponsors in the summer of 2018. As a sponsor I will be hosting a Spring 2019 event at the museum for past, current, and future clients.
